Updates & license

The app keeps itself current — nothing to download again.

Updates

  • When you open the app, it checks for a new version first. If there is one, it downloads it, checks it, and restarts into it — in a second or two — then says Updated to vX.
An update ready to install
An update found while running waits for you — it never restarts on its own, so armed tasks aren't cut off.
Every update is signed. The app installs only builds signed by us, and only newer versions — nothing else, whatever it's handed.
